Privacy policy

We do not collect student data

The Faro360 audit measures the maturity of a school's counselling program — not individual students. We do not ask for, store, or process student names, case notes, or any student personal information anywhere in this product. Please do not enter such information in the optional notes fields.

What we do collect

We collect the account information you provide (your email and your school's name, type, region, and enrolment band) and the audit answers you enter, so we can generate your report and track progress over time. We use a secure, industry-standard platform to store this data and process payments.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run Faro360, each handling only what's needed for their function:

• Supabase — secure database, authentication, and storage.
• Vercel — website and application hosting.
• Stripe — payment processing (we never see full card numbers).
• Zoho Mail — sending sign-in and account emails.
• OpenRouter — powering the on-site chat assistant and the in-report AI advisor. It receives only the message text you type and, for the advisor, a summary of your program-level results (scores and bands) — never account credentials and never student data.
• Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement of page views and site performance. It does not build advertising profiles.
• Microsoft Clarity — product analytics that show us, through aggregated heatmaps and session replays, how the site is used so we can improve it. It records interactions such as clicks, scrolls, and mouse movement; the text you type and form fields are masked by default. It is never used for advertising and never captures student data.

We do not sell your data, and we never share it with accreditation bodies.

Cookies & analytics

Essential cookies keep you signed in and the Service secure — these are always on. Vercel Analytics measures page views without cookies. Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session replays) sets cookies, so it runs only after you accept analytics in our cookie banner; if you decline, it does not run. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of any page, or block cookies in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not sell your data, and our analytics never capture student data — the text you type and form fields are masked.

Your control & data retention

You can request a copy or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us, and we will action it promptly. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep limited records (for example, payment records) to meet legal obligations. Anonymised, aggregated figures may be used for peer benchmarking, but never in a way that identifies an individual school without consent.
